Refugee Vocational Education Program (RVEP) is a program implemented by UNHCR and JELA (Japan Evangelical Lutheran Association) which supports:
- refugees who live in Japan,
- to complete vocational training,
- through scholarships from JELA.
The aim of the program is to provide access to vocational training for refugees in Japan who would otherwise have difficulty gaining market relevant skills. The students’ tuition fees and other study expenses will be funded by the program. Additional scholarship stipends may be paid to the students accordingly.
