Jusoor, Toronto Metropolitan University
Jusoor-TMU Scholarship
About
Jusoor is proud to partner with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) to support one Syrian scholar to pursue a master’s degree in an Engineering program starting in Fall 2023.
To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must apply to Jusoor by 22nd January, 2023 using the application in the ‘How to Apply’ section of this webpage.
Selected candidates must then apply to TMU through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre by 15th March, 2023. You can read more about this here. We will inform you if you have been selected by 10th February, 2023.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Being selected by Jusoor DOES NOT guarantee that you will be admitted to TMU, nor does it guarantee you a scholarship, even if you are admitted to TMU. Selected applicants will be ranked by Jusoor according to their performance on their applications and interviews and we will offer only 1 scholarship. For example, if Jusoor awards three application waivers and all three of those students are admitted to TMU, the one who scored the highest on their Jusoor application and interview will be selected for the final scholarship.
This year, one Jusoor-TMU scholarship will be awarded in one of the following fields of study:
MEng Aerospace Engineering
MEng Biomedical Engineering
MEng Chemical Engineering
MEng Civil Engineering
MEng computer Networks
MEng Electrical and Computer Engineering
MEng Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
Please see the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Sciences website to learn more about the eligible programs listed above.
